This book examines consequences of Russian accession to the WTO for its economic and social environment. The main aim of the research is to understand the influence of the WTO organization on various sectors of Russian economy and the social environment of the country. In order to come to conclusion the structure of the organization, its policy, and rules need to be analyzed in the first place. Seven industries of economy, including: agriculture, investment and insurance, car and airplane manufacturing, textile and metallurgy, have been looked at in order to evaluate the advantages and the disadvantages of WTO entry as it is the main aim of the research made. What is more, the analysis of conditions of WTO accession of two other countries : China and Ukraine is present in order to compare the conditions of the following countries with Russia. China is taken as another BRIC country, whereas Ukraine is analyzed as the country with a similar social and economic environment.
